Shawn Kiehne
Shawn Kiehne has been in the financial services industry since 2003. As a Series 65 licensed advisor, Shawn is obligated to adhere to the fiduciary standard, which means he must provide advice & solutions that are in the best interest of his clients. Shawn is also life and health insurance licensed.
A lifelong New Mexican, Shawn grew up in Bosque Farms and his main office is located in Los Lunas. Shawn’s parents, Max and Cherie, were well known and respected real estate developers. “My parents taught me early on that your reputation is everything in business,” says Shawn “ They stressed the importance of always doing the right thing for the client no matter what.”
Shawn has been married to his wife, Ada, for 28 years. The couple met while he was studying Spanish is Mexico for a semester while in college. Ada is the seminar marketing coordinator for Kiehne Wealth & Retirement. Together they have three children Brett age 24; a music producer in Los Angeles, Tyler age 21 and Kamila age 17. Of note, Shawn’s son Tyler was the #1 ranked high school football player in New Mexico in 2021 and now plays for the UNM Lobos as a defensive lineman.
Outside of work, Shawn has been quite successful in the Spanish music industry, using the stage name of “El Gringo.” He is one of the more popular performers in the region, with frequent shows at large music festivals and local casinos. Shawn and his music have been featured in The New York Times, People Magazine, New Mexico Magazine and The Albuquerque Journal. Shawn is also active in the community as a member of his church and volunteers part time as a girls basketball coach at Los Lunas High School.

Joy Goff
Joy Goff is an Office Manager at Kiehne Wealth and Retirement. Her responsibilities include setting meetings, managing client accounts, seminars, and everyday office work such as client calls, withdrawals, beneficiary changes, et cetera. She has a background in nursing, as well as in real estate, both commercial and residential. Joy is a caring, fun-loving, and very organized person–she appreciates her job for the opportunities it gives her to help people as well as how well she works with her coworkers. When not working, she loves to travel or, of course, spend time with her family.
